Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH
Answer the following questions in complete sentences using the RACE method. Type your answers in Google Docs and share with me please. Make sure you use text evidence to prove your answers.
Chapter 13 -- A Powder for Dragon:
What did Mrs. Frisby volunteer to do as part of the plan to move her house? Why is it so risky for her to do so?
Chapter 14 -- The Marketplace:
Make a prediction. What do you think will happen next in Nicodemus' story?
Chapter 15 -- In the Cage:
Describe what happened to the rats after they arrived at the laboratory? Be sure to include all of the events that happened during that time.
Chapter 16 -- The Maze:
Why do you think they left Justin run around the lab for so long without catching him? What do you think Justin will do next?
Chapter 17 -- A Lesson in Reading:
Let's look at cause and effect after reading this chapter. If the effect is that the rats are planning to escape in the future, what is the cause? How did this plan start to happen?

Read chapters 9-12
Answer the following questions using the RACE method. When answering the questions, make sure you find evidence to prove your answer and explain your answer. That means writing specific evidence right from the book or paraphrasing the evidence from the book. Remember to use quotation marks when using specific evidence.
